This agreement ("Agreement") outlines the commitment between Toronto Atlantic Football Club ("Toronto Atlantic FC") and the Participant ("Player"), represented by their Guardian ("Guardian") or an adult, as indicated during registration.
Program Overview
The Toronto Atlantic FC Team Program is crafted to provide participants with a comprehensive soccer development experience. The program starts on the date specified at registration and concludes at the end of the seasonal year (October 31). As a member, you'll have the opportunity to grow as a player, build teamwork, and enhance personal development.
Participation Expectations
a. Code of Conduct: Participants and their parents/guardians are required to follow the Toronto Atlantic FC Code of Conduct, which reflects our commitment to respect, discipline, and teamwork. The Code of Conduct can be found on our website.
b. Commitment: To maximize the benefits of the program, participants must regularly attend practices, games, and other scheduled activities. A minimum attendance of 85% for training sessions is expected to ensure consistent development and active contribution to the team. Should a player fail to uphold this commitment, Toronto Atlantic FC reserves the right to revoke their participation in the program at any time.
Financial Commitments
a. Fees: The full annual fee is $2500 + HST. Payments can be made in one of the following ways:
Quarterly (every 3 months)
Half-season (every 6 months)
Full season (once per year)
For players registering after the start of the seasonal year, a prorated fee will apply based on the date of registration. Players will still have the option to choose between one, two, or three payments, depending on the remaining duration of the season.
b. Sibling Discount: A 10% discount is available for any additional siblings registered within the program.
c. Uniforms: Each participant will receive a game uniform (jersey, shorts, socks) and a training uniform (jersey, shorts, socks) valid for the full year. Additional training kits can be purchased for $55 + HST. Other items like hats and backpacks are available for purchase on our website. A new game uniform might be given at the start of each seasonal year if the player has outgrown the previous one or the club has a new uniform design.
Term and Termination
This Agreement is valid until October 31 of the same year. Withdrawing does not release participants from their financial commitment. Players are committed to the full year. However, for players registering in September, October, November, or December, their commitment extends until October 31 of the following year.
Early Departure and Renewal
a. Early Departure:Withdrawal does not negate the obligation to complete payments for the full season. A deregistration form must be submitted, subject to approval.
b. Automatic Renewal:This Agreement will automatically renew for subsequent seasons unless written notice of non-renewal is provided 30 days before the end of the current term. By renewing, participants agree to all terms and financial commitments for the following seasonal year.
Team Communication and Management
a. Teamlinkt: All team-related communication is managed through the Teamlinkt app.
b. WhatsApp: For coordination of non-training events and carpooling.
Photo Identification
Please provide an electronic photo and a copy of a government-issued photo ID. Both must be clear and of sufficient quality for our records.
Acknowledgment
By signing below, both parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Agreement.
